Iverna Gardens
AutumnThis week we will learn about autumn.
We will discuss the changes we can see happening around us in nature, and observe the different objects that fall from the trees. We will look at how animals adapt to their surroundings, either through hibernation, migration or adaption, and we will talk about changes in temperature, and the clothes we wear. The children will make their own clay hedgehogs to take home.
We will look at Bonfire Night, and discuss ways of staying safe. The children will make some lovely, colourful firework pictures to take home.
Ideas for home:
Go for a walk in the local park and collecting colourful leaves.
Collect seeds found on the floor, such as conkers and acorns
