Iverna Gardens
EuropeThis week we will be learning about Europe, which is a special continent because it is the continent we live in. Europe is the second smallest continent in terms of size but is made up of many diverse countries and cultures. The children will be shown European flags, listen to, and talk in, different languages, try on different clothes, and explore and play with European artefacts. They will decorate their European continents with numerous items associated with Europe as part of the world map art project.
Ideas for home:
- When food shopping, you can point out different products from European countries, for example different types of bread and cheese.
