This week we will be learning about Europe, which is a special continent because it is the continent we live in. Europe is the second smallest continent in terms of size, but we will discover that it is made up of many diverse countries and cultures. The children will be shown European flags, listen to, and talk in, different languages, try on different clothes, and explore and play with European artefacts. They will decorate their European continents with numerous items associated with Europe as part of the world-map art project. In drama, they will watch and practise traditional dances from different European countries.
