This week, the children will be learning about the story of Thanksgiving: how, why and when it started. We will talk about the celebration of Thanksgiving and that it has become a big celebration in the United States and for Americans around the world. We will discuss what we are grateful for and decorate our Thanksgiving tree with gratitude leaves. The children will participate in, and act out, the story of the first Thanksgiving. We will also have our very own Thanksgiving feast on Thursday.
